Zaïde Bil (1990) grew up in Groningen (NL) with a Surinamese mother and a Dutch father. She graduated in 2013 as a journalist and 2018 as a documentary director from RITCS, School of Arts in Brussels. With her graduation film MEMRE YU, she won the VAF Wildcard for Documentary.
